PROJECT OVERVIEW
Infographic design for the life science sector shows a summary of information from an in-depth piece of research. A manuscript summary piece is presented as a one-page infographic with icons, illustrations and highlighted facts and figures. Graphics help guide the reader, draw them to the key points and make it quick to gain an overall understanding of the content.
References and publishing details are displayed on the back leaving the front for the full impact of the piece. The information shown has been anonymised for confidentiality reasons.
An infographic design is more than simply making information look visually appealing. In fact, it would be easy to add graphics that confuse the reader and make it harder to follow. In this piece, I discussed with the team the importance of flow and order. We considered how it would be seen when scanned quickly and how to get the sense right with the visuals aiding understanding rather than hindering it.
“We are really happy with the design work on this project, thank you”
Chris
